Position Description:
Microsoft Asia Center for Hardware (MACH) is a fast growing organization that is an extension of Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division, a world leader in design, development and manufacturing of computer peripherals, Xbox Gaming and Zune music devices.
MACH is currently looking for a Design verification Engineer/RF test engineer developing world-class consumer products for high-volume mass production.
In this role you will be responsible for test activities associated with qualifying XBox Accessories. Your involvement will be from initial concept through release to manufacturing and may require domestic and international travel. And also you are required to work with multi-disciplinary product development teams, and manage/coach vendor employees and design partners to meet our product criteria.

Design Verification Engineer:

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Creating a test plan and schedule to verify the peripherals meet product specifications
• Performing many of the tests in the test plan
• Organize tasks and define deliverables for internal test teams and external development partners
• Communicating issues and status with the various teams and external partners.

Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
• Strong communication skill in English (both oral and written)
• Strong design verification experience in high volume consumer electronic products, must have experience in product testing for a complete product development cycle.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong skill-set in analytical problem solving, a history of increasing responsibilities and decision-making experience.
• Working knowledge of major computer interfaces and capabilities such as USB
• Working knowledge in digital/analogue circuits
• Experience working with Asian partners to bring high volume consumer products into production.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies and implementations. 802.11x, Bluetooth is desired.
• Labview is a plus
• Manufacture test is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.



RF test enginner

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Organize tasks and define deliverables for internal test teams and external development partners
• Communicating issues and status with the various teams and external partners.

Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
• Strong communication skill in English (both oral and written)
• Strong design verification experience in high volume consumer electronic products, must have experience in product testing for a complete product development cycle.
• Past experiences in developing and executing test plan and test cases for wireless products. Preferable to have direct testing experience with Bluetooth products, cordless phone, Wi-Fi products.
• Solid knowledge on RF front end (physical layer)
• Familiar with various industry standard RF protocols such as Bluetooth and 802.11x.
• Labview is a plus
• Manufacture test is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years related experience.
